ZONSKY's Bunched Cable Vertical Flame Spread Tester is designed to evaluate the flame spread characteristics of grouped (bunched) cables under vertical flame exposure. The apparatus subjects bundled cables to a standardized flame source, measuring parameters such as flame spread rate, heat release, and smoke production. It provides critical data on fire propagation potential in cable installations.

Product applications: Testing of electric and optical fiber cables under fire conditions. Determination of vertical flame spread of vertically-mounted bunched wires or cables.

Complies with standards: IEC 60332-3-10:2018, IEC 60332-3-21:2018 (Category A F/R), IEC 60332-3-22:2018 (Category A), IEC 60332-3-23:2018 (Category B), IEC 60332-3-24:2018 (Category C), IEC 60332-3-25:2018 (Category D).

  • Test box: Self-standing, dimensions (1000 ± 50) mm × (2000 ± 50) mm × (4000 ± 50) mm. Made of high-grade stainless steel with a 65mm thick thermal insulation mineral fiber core.
  • Air supply: Adjustable air inlet to maintain (5000 ± 500) L/min during tests.
  • Fire suppression: Water spray system automatically extinguishes the fire after 1 hour.
  • Ignition source: Automatic ignition via high-voltage pulse.
  • Flame temperature: Adjustable from 450°C to 950°C.
  • Combustion gas: Propane with 95% purity (customer-supplied).
  • Blowtorch system: Stainless steel with 242 holes (1.32mm diameter), 3.2mm spacing, arranged in three staggered rows.
  • Control system: Relay control system with overload, short circuit, and control circuit overload protection.
  • Chassis dimensions: L1000 × W2000 × H4000 mm. Weight: 550 kg.
