Description
ZONSKY's Vertical Flame Tester provides automated, highly accurate testing to determine how wire insulation behaves when exposed to fire.
Product applications: Engineered specifically to verify the flame resistance of wire and cable insulation materials. Measures critical safety metrics: ignition time, flame spread rate, and self-extinguishing capabilities.

Complies with standards: UL 1581-2016 Section 1061 – Vertical Burning Test of Wires; UL 1581-2016 Section 1090 – Horizontal Burning Test of Equipment Wires; UL 2556-2015.

- Vertical combustion box: UL1581 standard size, internal dimensions: 305 × 355 × 610 mm.
- Horizontal combustion box: UL1581 standard size, internal dimensions: 305 × 355 × 610 mm.
- Vertical spark nozzle: 20° angle, equipped with gas control valve.
- Horizontal spark nozzle: 90° angle, equipped with gas control valve.
- Operation mode: Manual and automatic mode selection.
- Automatic stop function: Stops automatically when the preset time is reached.
- Fuel type: Methane gas (provided by the customer).
- Test length: 300 mm (horizontal), 457 mm (vertical).
Test method (vertical test): The specimen is placed on top of the flame, burned for 15 seconds, extinguished for 15 seconds, and repeated five times to assess burning conditions.
