Description
ZONSKY's Low Temperature Tensile Tester measures how well wires, cables, and insulation sheaths maintain their mechanical strength and flexibility in freezing environments.
Product applications: Evaluates material integrity, stretching capabilities, and cold-weather resistance. Accurately measures yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, and ductility (flexibility). Ideal for testing wires, cables, rubber, plastics, and protective insulating jackets.
System requirement: This instrument requires an external low-temperature chamber to handle subzero cooling.
Complies with standards: IEC 60811-4-1:1985, EN 60811-1-4, ASTM D 573, ISO 188, BS 7870-2.
Main technical parameters:
- Machine size: 420L × 320W × 340H (mm).
- Operating temperature: -40°C.
- Maximum stretching length: 220mm (displacement distance).
- Specimen specifications: Applicable to Type I and II dumbbell pieces (GB/T2951.14-2008 Figure 3 & Figure 4).
- Fixtures: Non-self-tightening, three sets of six fixtures, capable of testing three samples simultaneously.
- Distance between left & right fixtures: Adjustable: 22mm or 30mm.
- Tensile speed: 25±5 mm/min.
- Tensile accuracy: ±0.5%.
- Display: Digital display, automatically calculates stretch length; includes break-stop function for individual sample monitoring.
- Power requirements: AC220V (±10%), 50Hz. Operating power: 400W.
Equipment structure: The machine is divided into two sections: a control panel and a stretching unit. During testing, the stretching unit is placed inside the low-temperature chamber, while the control panel remains outside. The control box is made of high-quality (≥1.2mm) electrostatic steel plate. The stretching device is made of SUS304 stainless steel (anti-corrosion, anti-rust). Motor drive system: AC220V, 400W.
