Low Temperature Impact Tester for Soft Plastics – Brittleness Temperature according to ISO 812, ASTM D2137

ZONSKY's Low-Temperature Impact Tester determines the brittle temperature of soft plastics—the temperature at which the material becomes brittle and more likely to crack or break under impact. During testing, plastic samples are progressively cooled to lower temperatures and subjected to an impact force. The apparatus records the temperature at which the material fails due to cracking or shattering.
