Smoke Density Meter – Equipment for testing according to ASTM D2843

ZONSKY's Smoke Density Tester is widely used in construction, aerospace, and electronics to assess the amount of smoke produced and the material's diffusion properties during fire-related scenarios. This information helps in designing effective fire safety measures and protective solutions.

Main technical specifications: Smoke density measurement range of 0 to 100%, with accuracy of ±3%. Uses 95% propane gas or coal gas of equivalent purity (provided by the customer). Bunsen burner of 260mm length, nozzle diameter 0.13mm, positioned at a 45° angle with the smoke box. Photoelectric system with a 15W light bulb operating at 6V. Includes a powerful exhaust fan that removes exhaust gases after the test. Receiver uses a silicon photovoltaic cell.

Automation features: Supports automatic timing, manual ignition (with manual igniter), automatic smoke exhaust, and automatic luminous flux correction. Includes computer transmittance measurement software capable of generating curve reports, automatically saving data, and printing results.
