Description
ZONSKY's Fire Retardant Paint Testing Machine (Small Chamber Method) assesses the fire-resistant properties of fire-retardant paints in a compact, controlled environment. In this test, paint-coated samples are placed inside a small chamber and exposed to a flame or heat source to simulate fire conditions on a smaller scale.
Parameters measured: ignition time, flame spread, and heat release.
Product applications: Precise evaluation of the paint's ability to slow down combustion and limit flame spread on various surfaces.
Complies with standards: ASTM E119, ISO 834-1 and EN 13501-2. The equipment features one test station, test board size of L300 x W150 mm, sample holder tiltable to 45° ± 2°, combustion box of 337 x 229 x 794 mm made of 304 stainless steel, brass combustion lamp, and optional balance of 200 g / 0.1 g.
