ZONSKY's Fire Retardant Paints Test Apparatus (Tunnel Method) evaluates the fire-resistant performance of fire-retardant paints. In this test, paint-coated samples are placed in a tunnel-like chamber and exposed to controlled flame or heat conditions to simulate fire scenarios. The apparatus measures how well the paint slows down ignition, limits flame spread, and reduces heat release on the coated surface.
Product applications: Evaluation of fire-retardant paints for construction, industry, transportation and materials exposed to fire risk. Enables product certification according to international standards.
Complies with standards: ASTM D3806, ISO 846, MIL-STD-810G (Method 508.6) and JIS Z 2911. The equipment includes: tunnel furnace with steel angle frame, ceramic fiber panel, heat-resistant glass observation window, brass burner with high-voltage automatic ignition, insulating cover plate, type K armored thermocouple (range 1300°C) and PID temperature controller with 0.5%±1 accuracy.
