Description
ZONSKY's Rigid Foam Combustion Tester evaluates the flammability characteristics of rigid foam plastic materials. This apparatus exposes foam samples to controlled flames or heat sources to assess ignition ease, flame spread, and heat release intensity.
Product applications: Fire resistance assessment for research, quality control, and safety.
Complies with standards: ASTM D3014-04a and ISO 3582.
Main technical features: Includes fume hood, chimney, sample holder, and control panel. Test chamber dimensions are 0.15m³ (L730mm × W280mm × H750mm). Chimney is made of stainless steel with aluminum foil lining (0.025mm thick). Standard gas burner with inner diameter 9.5±0.5mm. Adjustable blue flame height 25–35mm, with 15° angle to vertical. Inner flame temperature measured by K-type thermocouple is 960±25°C. Timer adjustable from 0–99.99s with ±0.1s accuracy. Standard sample size is 254±1mm length × 19±1mm width and thickness.
