Description
ZONSKY's Fire Propagation Apparatus (FPA) measures the rate at which flames spread across the surface of a material. It is essential for testing fire resistance in industries such as construction, textiles, and transportation. Key measurement parameters include: ignition time (Tign), mass loss rate (m), chemical (Qchem) and convective (Qc) heat release rate, effective heat of combustion (EHC), and smoke generation rate.
Product applications: In-depth flammability evaluation of materials, fire development modeling, flame propagation speed, risk assessment, architectural and product design, and research & development of new materials.
Complies with standards: ISO12136-2011, ASTM E2058-2013 and FM4910-2004. Includes four test methods: ignition, combustion, pyrolysis and fire propagation. Features an integrated cabinet, built-in computer, LCD display, and high-automation Labview software.
