3M立方体烟雾密度测试仪设计用于在定义条件下测量电缆燃烧产生的烟雾密度。测试指标包括烟雾的光学密度（OD）和比光密度（DS）。该设备遵循朗伯-比尔定律，测量烟雾的光透射率与原始光透射率的关系，并计算最小透射率下的最大DS值。
标准：IEC 61034 - 1997 和 GB/T17651.1～2-1998。
技术参数：
- 燃烧装置：包括长杆点火装置，以确保测试人员的安全，以及带自动夹紧装置的不锈钢测试支架。
