Boats in Resö

Resö is a small island in Tanum, Sweden. You can get here by boat or by crossing the bridge, and it serves as a marina for boats.

When fishing gained importance during the 20th century, there were 26 resident fishing boats in Resö by the mid-1930s.

Today, there is still an active fishing fleet, and it is very possible that these boats are also used for smaller-scale fishing tasks.

With this drawing, I wanted to reflect not only the beauty of the boats but also the geographical space so typical of the Scandinavian countries, with their large, beautiful, and unique flat rocks. These rocks are found not only on the coast but also in forests and mountains.
