Die Prüfkammer für Ozonbeständigkeitsalterung ist dafür ausgelegt, die Ozonbeständigkeitsalterung von Kautschukprodukten wie vulkanisiertem Kautschuk, thermoplastischem Kautschuk und Kabelisolierbeschichtungen zu bewerten. Gemessen wird die Veränderung der Oberfläche der ausgesetzten Proben, wobei Eigenschaften wie die Entstehung von Rissen unter Bedingungen statischer Dehnung, kontinuierlicher dynamischer Verformung oder abwechselnder statisch-dynamischer Dehnung in einer Kammer mit konstanter Ozonkonzentration und kontrollierter Temperatur, ohne Licht und mit Luftzirkulation bewertet werden. Dieses Gerät wird häufig in Schulen, Fabriken, der Militärindustrie und Forschungsabteilungen eingesetzt.
